Film Critics Circle of Australia 2011 Awards Results

'Animal Kingdom' takes home five awards.

Animal Kingdom was the big winner at this year’s Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards, taking home five awards from a possible ten. The film won best director, actor, actress, supporting actor and original screenplay. Beneath Hill 60 took two awards, and South Solitary and The Waiting City won one each. It was a strong year for Australian cinema and we are hoping that something as strong as Animal Kingdom hits our screens this year. Winners are highlighted in BOLD.
