Tribeca Films has premiered the official trailer for the independent romantic-comedy The Giant Mechanical Man, directed by Lee Kirk. Screening at the Tribeca Film Festival, before opening in New York and on VOD on April 27th, the film stars Jenna Fischer, Chris Messina, Topher Grace, Malin Akerman, Rich Sommer, Lucy Punch, and Bob Odenkirk, and an unhappy woman (Fischer) who finds inspiration in a silver-painted street performer (Messina). Conflict arises, however, when she has to choose to either start a relationship with the street artist or pursue an egotistical self-help guru (Grace). While this looks to follow a very conventional path, the trailer shows off a very sweet film, filled with some nice performances – I am a big fan of Chris Messina. I am really looking forward to seeing this! Watch it below!
