After a batch of eleven stills were released earlier this week, the official Facebook page for Woody Allen’s To Rome With Love has released another five, including our first look at Ellen Page. To Rome With Love (it was Nero Fiddled) is a comedy set in the Italian city, starring another great ensemble cast including Page, Alec Baldwin, Penélope Cruz, Roberto Benigni, Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwig, Judy Davis, and Alison Pill, as well as Allen himself.
The film is made up of four “vignettes”: the first follows a husband (Allen) and his wife (Davis) who travel to Rome and meet the family of the Italian man their daughter is going to marry; another will feature Benigni as a man named Leopoldo who gets mistaken for a movie star; the third follows an architect (Baldwin) from California visiting Rome with his friends; and the fourth is centred around two newlyweds who go to Rome in order to visit some relatives but instead get lost in the city. We are hoping that a trailer will hit soon but it’s nice to see Page, hand in hand with Jesse Eisenberg, as well as receiving a better look at Alec Baldwin’s character. Now we just need to see some footage to find out if they can deliver Allen’s dialogue! Check out the five new stills below! To Rome With Love is set to hit American cinemas on June 22nd and sometime in October in Australia.
