We got our first look at footage from Colin Trevorrow’s Safety Not Guaranteed in the form of an official trailer, but now Moviefone has debuted a brand new clip from the feature. An indie time travel drama-comedy starring Mark Duplass, Aubrey Plaza, and Jake Johnson, the film follows three magazine employees who look into a mysterious classified ad written by an eccent supermarket clerk Kenneth, who believes he’s solved the riddle of time travel. The film also stars Karan Soni and Mary Lynn Rajskub.
Set for theatrical release in the States on June 8th, and July 26th in Australia, the film clip shows Plaza’s character undercover, posing as a woman interested in the ad written by Duplass’. Discussing weapons, the grocery clerk’s poor writing and experience with facing near-death circumstances, this is a delightful piece of footage for the indie drama-comedy, finishing with an excellently awkward move by Plaza. This is a terrific clip, highlighting the tone of the feature without spoiling any of the plot! Check it out!
