While we featured three teaser clips back in August, The Playlist has uncovered the first trailer for Sarah Polley’s Take This Waltz, which first premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year. Starring Michelle Williams, Seth Rogen, Luke Kirby and Sarah Silverman, the film follows a woman “struggling to choose between two different types of love”, and this is a terrific preview for the film! The low-key nature of the footage hints at the romantic and bittersweet nature of the film, and all of the actors are incredibly charming – these are very different performances from Rogen and Silverman. I am completely taken by this trailer, containing some lovely cinematography, so please watch it below! Magnolia Pictures will be doing a limited release of Take This Waltz in the US on June 29th.
