After premiering at the Cannes Film Festival to positive reviews, IGN has released a brand new clip from Andrew Dominik’s follow-up to The Assassination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, the ensemble crime drama titled Killing Them Softly. Starring Brad Pitt, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Ray Liotta, Sam Shepard, Slaine, Garret Dillahunt, Max Casella, Bella Heathcote, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn and Vincent Curatola, the film follows a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game.

The clip sees the professional enforcer, Jackie Cogan (Pitt), talking to a mob lawyer (Jenkins) about hiring a top-rated hit-man. Discussing the “touchy and feely” nature of some kills, and the current economic climate, the clip showcases the film’s humour and social commentary. Considering the positive reception from Cannes, I’m looking forward to seeing this! Check out the clip below!
